Carib Theatre fire
A fire that started in the auditorium ceiling destroyed the original theatre interior. Firefighter Lambert Blackwood died, two firefighters were injured, and Palace Amusement executive Douglas Graham suffered smoke inhalation while assisting emergency responders.
