Butterfly Seating launches latest version of Butterfly-Rail convertible sleeper-seat at InnoTrans 2026

Butterfly Flexible Seating Solutions (Butterfly Seating) officially launched the latest version of Butterfly-Rail, a convertible sleeper-seat solution that converts between premium daytime seating, private lounge, family couch and a full-length lie-flat bed, at InnoTrans 2026 in Berlin. The company states the product is designed to address limited utilisation of dedicated sleeper accommodation by letting one carriage serve daytime, lounge and overnight markets without re-certification, and it is now being presented to EU-based railway operators, rolling-stock manufacturers, design houses and mobility partners.
