Christmas Day outdoor-display vandalism
On Christmas Day, five young men damaged approximately 75 outdoor displays, including Santa figures, reindeer, carolers, nutcrackers, angels and the nativity scene. All five defendants ultimately pleaded guilty in connection with the incident. The final defendant received jail time, probation, community service and restitution in 2011.
