Youbei fresh milk mixed with cleaning lye and recalled
In June 2012, cleaning lye from a Bright Dairy production line mixed into some Youbei fresh milk, triggering consumer complaints and food safety handling. Shanghai quality supervision authorities identified the cause, and the company recalled the product and apologized. This entry is associated with Bright Food Group through its dairy business and does not extend to all of its food brands.
