MacDonnell disability-discrimination lawsuit
Martin MacDonnell alleged that Boston Partners discriminated against him because of a disability, failed to communicate promotion and job opportunities, demoted him, and failed to provide reasonable accommodations after he sought to return from medical leave. The firm disputed the allegations, asserting that it provided leave and multiple accommodations and that the portfolio-manager position he sought no longer existed after the relevant product was discontinued.
