Rana Plaza supply-chain scrutiny
Bonmarché was among the brands identified as having sourced apparel from factories operating in the Rana Plaza building in Savar, Bangladesh. The building collapsed on 24 April 2013, killing at least 1,127 people and injuring more than 2,438. Bonmarché attended compensation discussions in November 2013 and signed the agreement concerning payments to victims.
