Cinestate misconduct allegations and corporate shutdown
The arrest of producer Adam Donaghey for sexual assault and reporting alleging misconduct on Cinestate sets led to protests, the closure of Rebeller Media, the sale of Fangoria, staff departures, and the effective winding down of Cinestate's public operations. These events preceded Bonfire Legend's formation as a successor imprint.
