Edits concerning Bomis’s adult-content history
Jimmy Wales edited Wikipedia to remove descriptions of Bomis as a provider of softcore pornography. The changes drew media scrutiny because Bomis had supported Wikipedia and Wales was closely identified with the encyclopedia. Wales later said he regretted making the edits.
