Alstom announces proposed acquisition of Bombardier Transportation
Bombardier announced that it had signed a memorandum of understanding with Alstom and the Caisse de dépôt et placement du Québec for the sale of Bombardier Transportation to Alstom. The proposed transaction was valued at an enterprise value of $8.2 billion, with closing expected in the first half of 2021, subject to regulatory approvals.
