BMW India opens pre-orders for locally assembled i5 Long Wheelbase
BMW India has opened pre-orders for the BMW i5 Long Wheelbase, the brand's first locally assembled fully electric sedan in India, to be built at the Chennai plant. The i5 eDrive35L variant has a single rear motor, an 81.6 kWh battery, 267 ps and up to 669 km MIDC range, with a limited 99-unit First Edition also planned. Launch is expected in a few weeks and pricing has not been announced.
