Shareholder oppression dispute
Neal Larson sued after his dismissal from BHI, alleging that his rights as a 35 percent shareholder had been oppressed. A court later found that he had not been properly allowed to participate in the meeting concerning his removal.
1992
Federal seizure of Sue
The FBI seized the Sue T. rex remains from BHI. The subsequent auction and transfer to the Field Museum made the case a prominent dispute concerning fossil ownership, custody, and public access.
