    IPO-related securities class action

After BigBand's 2007 public offering, shareholders filed a class-action lawsuit alleging that the company and certain insiders had violated the Securities Act of 1933 by making misleading statements about revenue, financial health, and product offerings. The allegations also included claims that sales practices had inflated reported results before the offering. The case was settled in 2009 for $1.5 million.
