History
Bensonwood began in 1972 when Tedd Benson and his brother Stephen started B&B, doing renovation and remodeling projects. After Stephen's death in 1974, the company became Benson Woodworking Company. In 1974, a shop was built in Alstead using recycled timber frame barns and silos. In 1975, Tedd first used off-site fabrication for a house project.
