The Buffalo Bills sued Benrus and Giovanni Feroce for alleged breach of a sponsorship agreement, claiming that approximately $1 million had not been paid.

Trademark and payment dispute involving Feroce
After Giovanni Feroce failed to make payments required under the licensing arrangement, a new Benrus trademark ownership group obtained temporary court restrictions against Feroce's former company. The restrictions covered use, advertising, sale, marketing, transfer, and encumbrance of goods bearing the Benrus mark, as well as use of the brand's domain.
