Public dispute involving former Days Gone creative director
After leaving Bend Studio, former creative director John Garvin publicly criticized reviewers and attributed Days Gone’s middling critical reception in part to what he described as ideological or “woke” reviewing. Bend Studio distanced itself from Garvin following his comments. The supplied reference describes the dispute but does not establish a formal legal or regulatory finding.
