Dispute over alleged historic manufacturing rights
Zdeněk Hoffmann claimed that Alfred Becher had granted his grandfather rights to manufacture Becherovka in 1939. The claim could not be proven in court. Hoffmann was sentenced by a district court to a year and a half in prison.
