BDO Puerto Rico executive indicted
Former BDO Puerto Rico president Fernando Scherrer was indicted in a federal case involving alleged diversion of federal education funds. The allegations were directed at the named individuals and did not establish liability for BDO Global as a network.

Northern Rock valuation controversy
BDO Stoy Hayward partner Andrew Caldwell was appointed independent valuer for nationalised mortgage bank Northern Rock. Shareholder groups challenged the statutory valuation framework, arguing that it could reduce compensation; the controversy concerned the valuation process and does not by itself establish wrongdoing by BDO.

Farepak administration criticism
