不列颠哥伦比亚省哈德逊希望镇居民称，BC Hydro拒绝出售或允许抢救因Site C大坝项目而购买或征用的房产上的建筑，且空置房屋和场地维护不善。BC Hydro发言人Bob Gammer承认社区关切，称部分房屋在拆除前已破败，并表示另外九处收购房产将于当年秋季拆除，该公用事业公司过去曾出售被拆房产的物品和建筑，今后在安全可行的情况下也会这样做。
