The RBI has, by an order on Thursday, imposed a monetary penalty of â¹1 crore on Bandhan Bank for non-compliance with the guidelines on promoter holding contained in âGuidelines for Licensing of New Banks in Private Sectorâ, the central bank said in a release.
After considering the reply received, the RBI came to the conclusion that the bank had failed to comply with the licensing guidelines.
