Baen's Bar political-violence controversy
Public allegations claimed that Baen's Bar had been used to advocate political violence and had allowed hostile rhetoric to remain available. Baen placed the forum on hiatus, later rejected allegations that it hosted unlawful speech, and reopened the service with restricted customer access. The controversy also affected Toni Weisskopf's participation in DisCon III.
