Disputed shareholder takeover and management crisis
On 24 June, representatives of the majority shareholder removed the foreign management team and some Russian managers. Andrew Pyne called the action an illegal coup, while the replacement leadership alleged incompetence, legal violations and financial harm by the previous team. Indigo Partners rejected the new appointments, claiming they lacked a legal basis.
