Health and safety breaches involving chemical burns
AsureQuality pleaded guilty to two breaches of the Health and Safety at Work Act and was fined NZ$66,000. The prosecution concerned a 2018 incident in which seven workers suffered chemical burns while cleaning a farm infected with Mycoplasma bovis.
