2012 ACB governance and fund-entrustment investigation
ACB's general director and several current or former senior executives became subjects of detention, resignation, prosecution or other restrictions during an investigation into alleged violations of credit-institution and economic-management regulations. Investigators alleged that a policy allowing employees to use ACB capital through entrustment arrangements caused serious consequences. The affair also generated customer withdrawals and a leadership change.
