K7 industrial-water incident
A water-related incident occurred at ASE's K7 facility in Kaohsiung on 1 October 2013. The matter led to review by Kaohsiung municipal and environmental authorities. ASE subsequently reported investments in industrial-water treatment and built the K14 recycling facility; the K7 plant was allowed to resume operations after officials assessed treatment improvements.
