Balan Wonderworld development controversy
Yuji Naka stated that he had been removed from the Balan Wonderworld team approximately six months before release after raising concerns about the game's condition. He accused Arzest and Square Enix of failing to address bugs and of releasing the game in an unfinished state. Balan Wonderworld had already received critical and commercial criticism following its March 2021 launch.
