Forced labor during the German occupation

During the Second World War and German occupation of Luxembourg, ARBED facilities used several hundred forced laborers and prisoners of war from countries including the Soviet Union, France, Belgium, Poland and Italy. A forced-labor camp was associated with the Burbach sheet-metal rolling mill. The episode is a documented aspect of the company's wartime history and is distinct from ordinary commercial controversy.
