Gold-related corruption allegations
Six former Antam executives were charged in January 2025 over alleged mismanagement and fraudulent activity involving 109 tons of gold during 2010–2022. The alleged losses were reported at approximately Rp3.31 trillion. Antam denied producing counterfeit gold, and the London Bullion Market Association reviewed the allegations. The charges and allegations should not be treated as proven without final judicial findings.
