Food-court shooting
On November 18, 2006, an off-duty Secret Service agent intervened in a food-court fight and was shot. The agent returned fire, striking the shooter, while a third person was also wounded. The mall closed temporarily after the incident. The shooter was later sentenced to 65 years in prison.
