Sinovel wind-control software controversy
A Serbian employee of American Superconductor sold or transferred proprietary wind-turbine control software to Sinovel, a major Chinese customer, after receiving a bribe. Sinovel then stopped payments to AMSC, producing a serious commercial crisis. The employee later pleaded guilty to bribery charges.
