Ransomware attack and data-breach disclosures

ARRL’s online services were disrupted beginning in May 2024. The organization later acknowledged that the outage resulted from ransomware, filed legally required data-breach notifications in July, and confirmed in August that it had paid a ransom of approximately one million dollars.
