Wakefield massacre at former Edgewater Technology
In December 2000, before Edgewater Technology became part of Alithya, employee Michael McDermott killed seven coworkers in Wakefield, Massachusetts. He was sentenced to life imprisonment. The incident concerns Edgewater’s pre-acquisition history and is not presented as misconduct by Alithya.
