History
AirBuggy originated when Iida encountered a 'Baby Jogger' three-wheel stroller in Hawaii and was impressed. GMP International became the Japanese distributor for Baby Jogger. In 2000, they decided to create their own three-wheel stroller. After trial and error, the first AirBuggy Standard was completed in 2001. Subsequent models include AirBuggy II, Explorer, Bits (2002), 3 PLUS (2005), MIMI (2006), and COCO (2010). The company was established in February 2002 as GMP International Co., Ltd. Direct stores opened in various locations, and some models received Good Design Awards.
