B&S group bankruptcy allegations
Authorities investigated people associated with the later Aiazzone and Emmelunga operation over allegations including fraudulent bankruptcy, destruction of accounting records, money laundering, tax evasion and false documentation. The allegations and arrests followed the group’s inability to fulfill customer contracts and meet obligations.

Pognano warehouse looting
People described as creditors entered an abandoned company warehouse in Pognano and removed goods. Carabinieri intervened, arresting four people for attempted theft and identifying additional participants; much of the merchandise was subsequently recovered.
