Former Agricultural Bank of China vice president Yang Kun sentenced to life in bribery case
According to court information released in February 2015, former Agricultural Bank of China vice president Yang Kun was sentenced to life imprisonment by the Nanjing Intermediate People's Court for accepting more than 30 million yuan in bribes. The court found that from 2005 to 2012 he sought benefits in matters such as loans and product sales; because there was no appeal or procuratorial protest, the first-instance judgment took effect.
