U.S. Department of Defense contracting and overcharging case
U.S. authorities alleged that Agility overcharged the Department of Defense on food-supply contracts performed between 2003 and 2010. In 2017, Agility agreed to pay $95 million to resolve civil fraud claims, relinquish claims for an additional $249 million and plead guilty to a misdemeanor offense involving theft of government funds. The Department of Defense also released a separate claim and lifted Agility’s suspension from federal contracting.
