Export-control violations settlement
The U.S. Department of State settled allegations that Aeroflex violated the Arms Export Control Act and International Traffic in Arms Regulations. Aeroflex paid a $4 million civil penalty and agreed to compliance improvements; an additional $4 million penalty was conditionally waived in connection with approved remediation costs.
