Acacia Systems

Acacia Systems is an Australian defence software and systems engineering company that has been supporting the Australian Defence Force since 1992. It develops advanced mission management systems and tactical support applications, with expertise in data fusion, tracking, sensor performance, data analysis, and environmental mathematical modelling. Its products have been tested in demanding Australian and international operational environments including submarines, surface warships, unmanned systems, and maritime safety aircraft.

Acacia was founded in 1992 by Ted Huber. The company has been supporting the Australian Defence Force since 1992. It is engaged primarily in developing advanced mission management systems and tactical support applications. Acacia's products have been designed and tested in demanding Australian and international operational environments including submarines, surface warships, unmanned systems and maritime safety aircraft.

• Onyx Advanced Sensor Tracking Optimisation System

  A world class multi-sensor data fusion capability that supports the fusion of sensor data across active and passive sonar domains to enhance detection and tracking performance. It is sensor-agnostic and can fuse ESM, radar, optronic and sonar raw detection data. Currently deployed in the Australian Air Warfare Destroyers and licensed for export to allied navies.

• Cortex Mission Management System

  Customised for delivery to the Bombardier Challenger 604 jet aircraft in service with the Australian Maritime Safety Authority.
