Milk-substitution racket in Villupuram
Police investigated a racket in which milk cans transported from Chennai toward Tiruvannamalai were reportedly tampered with and part of the milk was replaced by water. Aavin stated that the incident caused an estimated loss to the federation. The incident concerned supply-chain handling rather than an established finding that all Aavin products were adulterated.
