The Lifan 720 was launched in 2012 at the Guangzhou Auto Show with a price of 79,800 yuan.[2]
As of August 2013, a trim called the Comfort was launched with a lower price range from 66,800 yuan to 69,800 yuan.[3]

The Lifan 720 is powered by a 4-cylinder 1.8-litre engine producing 128 hp and a torque of 168 Nm.[4]
