Giti Tire (pronunciation: ) is a Singapore-headquartered Indonesian tire company, with eight manufacturing facilities, more than 32,000 global employees, and distribution to markets of more than 130 countries.[2] Giti Tire manufactures a variety of brands of passenger car, truck/bus, and off-road tires for global markets, which include Giti, GT Radial, Primewell, Runway, and Dextero.[3] It has regional offices in United States, Canada, UK, Germany, France, Indonesia, China, UAE, Malaysia, and Singapore
In 2022, Giti was ranked as the tenth-largest tire manufacturing company in the world based on revenue.[4]
History
Giti Tire originated back in 1951, as it was part of Lim family’s enterprises, with early operations in Indonesia under Gajah Tunggal, and later producing bias tires for passenger and commercial vehicles.[5]
