The Development Academy of the Philippines (DAP) is a government-owned and controlled corporation and graduate school attached to the Department of Economy, Planning and Development (DepDEV). Created by Presidential Decree No. 205 on 23 June 1973, it conducts graduate education, executive training, policy research, and consultancy for the public sector and industry.[2][3][4] The institution is attached to the NEDA and provides training, policy research, and consultancy services for public- and private-sector managers. The academy's stated mandate is to support socio-economic development and governance initiatives in the Philippines.[5]
