DSM-Firmenich AG is a Swiss-Dutch chemical company. It was formed on 9 May 2023[1] through the merger of Royal DSM and the Swiss company Firmenich. The company is listed on Euronext Amsterdam and is a constituent of the AEX index.
History
The announcement of the merger between DSM and Firmenich was first made in 2022[2] with a goal of establishing a leading nutrition and personal care ingredients company. The merger was considered by both organizations to be a "merger of equals"[3]. The merger was completed on 9 May 2023[1]
