Café Amazon is a Thai multinational coffeehouse chain owned by PTT Public Company Limited, founded in 2002. The cafés are primarily found inside malls, in city centers, and gas stations.[3]
There are more than 5,000 Café Amazon stores located around the world,[4] making it the sixth-largest coffee chain by number of global outlets.[5]
History
Café Amazon was established in 2002 by the Thai oil and gas company PTT,[6] with the intention to open coffee shops inside its gas stations nationwide. The first location was on Bangkok's Vibhavadi Rangsit Road.
