Regulatory dispute over protected-hours programming
The National Broadcasting Council criticized 4fun.tv for airing programs during the protected period from 6 a.m. to 2 p.m. that it considered potentially harmful to the moral and mental development of young people. It also cited insufficient age marking for content intended for adults. After the station did not follow the council's warnings, the regulator threatened withdrawal of the channel's licence and possible closure.
