Dispute over prepaid-connection commissions
Deutsche Telekom terminated its cooperation with Drillisch after alleging that a subsidiary had activated tens of thousands of prepaid connections without genuine customers. Drillisch rejected the allegations and maintained that its contractual obligations had been met. The parties settled their contractual and civil dispute in March 2012, and criminal proceedings against the company’s board and executive team were later discontinued.
