Consumer council summons Kidswant over misleading member-price labels
In May 2024, the Anhui Provincial Consumers Council found that price tags at Kidswant stores displayed member prices more prominently than non-member prices, easily misleading consumers into thinking they were the actual selling prices. It summoned Kidswant and demanded rectification. Kidswant responded that it had adjusted its electronic price tags and submitted a rectification report. Previously, its Shaoyang and Wuxi stores had been penalized by market regulators for false advertising and false product promotion. Rectification completed.

In the first batch of notices by the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology in 2021, Kidswant APP 8.18.1 was listed for collecting personal information beyond scope and was ordered to rectify within a deadline.
