Mercedes-Benz recalls 9,765 vehicles in China over communication-module software issue
Mercedes-Benz China and Beijing Benz announced a recall of 9,765 imported and locally produced vehicles, scheduled to begin on March 26, 2020. A communication-module software problem could cause inaccurate vehicle positioning during emergency calls, potentially preventing rescue teams from being directed to the vehicle. The companies will update the software free of charge, remotely or through authorized service centers.
