Freshly Killed Fish Claim Questioned as Stores' Actual Supply Practices Draw Scrutiny

In a ruling issued on April 25, the Tianhe District Court found that the Tai Qi Suancaiyu restaurant had infringed the trademark rights of Tai Er Suancaiyu and had engaged in unfair competition. The court ordered Tai Qi Suancaiyu to stop the infringement and to pay Tai Er Suancaiyu RMB 300,000 in damages. The decision addressed both the trademark infringement claim and the unfair competition claim brought by Tai Er Suancaiyu.
