Subsidiary made and sold health products without approval for two years, fined
In August 2015, the Hubei Provincial Food and Drug Administration reported that Jingpai Biological, under Jingpai, produced and sold six high-priced health products including cordyceps capsules for about two years without obtaining health food approval certificates and hygiene licenses, and was ordered to confiscate illegal products and pay a fine. In December 2025, online claims circulated that Jingjiu was a "period miracle water"; Jingjiu responded that it is a health liquor, not medicine. It was punished according to law; the company repeatedly clarified the positioning of health liquor.
