Franchisees Say Deposits Refused After Contracts Expire
Multiple Bingxue Shiguang franchisees in Jinan reported that after their contracts expired, headquarters issued breach notices for reasons including not wearing work clothes or work caps, withheld goods, terminated the contracts and refused to refund RMB 15,000 deposits. A lawyer said the brand had no right to impose “fines.” Its parent company had also been subject to enforcement. The dispute was reported by the media and awaits judicial resolution.
